Moderation Policy
Nothing publishes to this registry automatically. Every submission passes human review against the standards below — the review typically completes within a few days of submission.
What we require before publishing
- Artifact-centered: the report must center on contact infrastructure — a phone number, username (with platform), email address, or wallet address. Reports about "a person" without artifacts cannot be indexed.
- First-person experience: the reporter describes their own interaction, not secondhand rumor or reposted content.
- Coherent scam pattern: the narrative describes recognizable fraud conduct (deception + money solicitation, or clear precursor patterns). Mere bad behavior, breakups, or disputes are not scams and are declined.
- No prohibited content: no photographs, no full legal names, no addresses, no threats, no doxxing. Persona first names and claimed occupations are permitted because they are the scammer’s costume, not an identification.
What we decline
Reports naming identifiable real people rather than artifacts; revenge submissions about personal disputes; unverifiable pastes; anything targeting the innocent owners of stolen photos; and reports whose primary content is prohibited material. Declining is common and final unless resubmitted within policy.
Corrections and disputes
If an artifact listed here belongs to you and you believe the listing is wrong — numbers get recycled by carriers, handles get hijacked, wallets get spoofed — use the dispute & takedown process. We review every dispute, and we correct or remove listings when the evidence supports it. A registry that never corrects itself would deserve nobody’s trust.
